The Lucy M wines are made on the Lucy Margaux Farm in Basket Range, South Australia. The wines changes every year but one thing is constant: No additions, just grapes.
The winemaker, Anton Von Kloppper, was born in South Africa and moved to Australia at the age of 14. At an early age, he turned to catering and then oenology and sommellerie. During his studies, he became interested in biodynamic farming. After graduating, he travelled to Germany, New Zealand and the United States in search of wine experiences.
In 2002, he returned to Australia and bought a 6 hectare orchard in Adelaide Hills, and began plating vines in 2003. The winery Lucy Margaux is launched. This natural wines have no additives and sulpur, often taste juicy, fruit forward, a little wild and interesting.
