It’s tasting time again, and this round our WineNot Tasting Table shines a spotlight on the bold, rule-breaking wines of Xiaopu!

Join us on 11 September 2025, 6PM to 9PM for an evening of discovery. Xiaopu doesn’t play by the book. They use natural fermentation, old barrels, and a nomadic winemaking approach that spans Ningxia, Gansu, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Yunnan, and Sichuan. The result? Wines that are fresh, vibrant, and never boring.

Our second edition brings a fresh selection of natural and low-intervention wines, with new producers, new bottles, and plenty of character.

Unico Zelo is a small Australian winery by winemaking couple Brendan & Laura Carter founded in 2014. They aim to create textural, site-expressive Australian examples of Mediterranean varieties in an approachable fashion. They are one of the most dynamic winemaking duos in the Adelaide Hills right now.
