Du Vin aux Liens A Hug For You 2021

MYR 260.00

Type: Orange / Skin-Contact White (Natural / Low-Intervention)
Region: Alsace, France
Grapes: 40% Riesling, 40% Pinot Gris, 20% Sylvaner
Alcohol ABV: 14%

Tasting Profile and Key Notes:
Expressive and textured, with aromas of rose petals, ripe peach, apricot, candied citrus peel and delicate floral notes. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel, gentle tannic grip from skin contact, refreshing minerality and a long savoury finish with excellent balance between fruit and freshness.

Winemaking:
Sylvaner undergoes around 14 days of skin maceration, while Riesling and Pinot Gris are directly pressed to preserve freshness and elegance. The wines are combined and aged for approximately 12 months in fiberglass tanks, allowing the blend to develop texture while maintaining purity. It is bottled with minimal intervention, unfined and with little to no added sulphur, reflecting Vanessa Letort’s natural winemaking approach.

Farming:
The grapes are sourced from organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards in Alsace, with a focus on healthy soils and natural vineyard balance. Du Vin aux Liens works closely with growers who practise sustainable viticulture, avoiding chemical treatments and encouraging biodiversity. The philosophy is to let the vineyard and vintage express themselves naturally through minimal intervention in the cellar.
