Region: Rheingau, Germany
Grapes: 100% Riesling
Alcohol ABV: 11.5%

Tasting Profile and Key Notes:
Bright and elegant, with aromas of white peach, apricot, lemon zest, green apple and pear, complemented by delicate floral notes and wet stone minerality. Light to medium-bodied with vibrant acidity, beautifully balanced off-dry sweetness and a long, refreshing finish.

Winemaking:
The grapes are hand-harvested from the historic Schloss Johannisberg monopole vineyard and gently pressed to preserve purity and freshness. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to retain the expressive fruit and floral aromatics of Riesling. The wine is matured on its fine lees before bottling, creating a harmonious balance between fruit sweetness, crisp acidity and mineral precision.

Farming:
The fruit comes exclusively from the 50-hectare Schloss Johannisberg vineyard, one of the world's oldest continuously cultivated Riesling sites. The south-facing slopes are planted on Taunus quartzite with layers of loess and loam, producing wines with distinctive minerality and freshness. The estate follows sustainable vineyard practices with meticulous hand harvesting to preserve the quality and character of this historic Rheingau terroir.
